The Clare County Cleaver has been reporting the going on’s of Clare County from it’s post on Main Street in Harrison since 1881.
The Cleaver gets it’s interesting name from it’s origins. The Clare County Cleaver newspaper business sprung out of the back of a meat shop back in 1881 and has kept the clever cutlery name ever since.
It is a small, family run paper that covers everything from Clare County sports to local meetings and human interest stories.
